The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter, on a regular basis.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The site is heavily used for watersports. The area is a candidate Special Area for Conservation.



Protected areas
National None International Partial527 ha of IBA overlaps with Special Protection Area. IBA overlaps with Ramsar Site.
