Populations meeting IBA criteria ('trigger species') at the site:
Species Red List Season (year/s of estimate) Size IBA criteria
Egyptian Vulture Neophron percnopterus EN breeding (2009–2010) 1 pairs A1
Masked Shrike Lanius nubicus LC breeding (2008–2010) 30 pairs A3
Sombre Tit Poecile lugubris LC resident (2007–2010) 100 pairs A3

IBA Conservation

Ideally the conservation status of the IBA will have been checked regularly since the site was first identified in 2014. The most recent assessment (2015) is shown below.

IBA conservation assessment
Year of assessment State Pressure Response
2015 not assessed very high very low
Whole site assessed? State assessed by Accuracy of information

Pressure (threats to the trigger species and/or their habitats)
Threat Timing Scope Severity Result

Response (conservation actions taken for the trigger species and/or their habitats)
