Site description (2002 baseline):

Steppic agricultural land of wheat-fields and dry pasture, with scattered evergreen oak Quercus woodland.

Important for three species of steppic habitats.

Birds are disturbed by increasing road traffic and by aircraft used in aerial spraying for agriculture.
