Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
Three small rocky islets near the coast of Alicante with cliffs and some areas of scrub.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for breeding seabirds and migrant passerines.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The most important threat is disturbance from fishermen and tourists.



Protected areas
National High International Partial40 ha of IBA covered by Natural Reserve (Isla de Tabarca, 50 ha). 7 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Islote de Benidorm y Peñas de Arabi, 7 ha).
