Site description (2000 baseline)
The site consists of a wide valley dominated by pastures, some dehesas and a mountainous area with cliffs, scrub and maquis. Human activities include agriculture, livestock-grazing, lead mining and game hunting.
Key biodiversity
This is an important site for upland birds, particularly raptors, and steppic species.
