Site description (2000 baseline):

A lowland area with about 2,000 fish-ponds (total area c.2.500 ha), surrounded by agricultural land, many rivers, wet meadows and forests.

Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Crex crex (breeding).

National None International Low128 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area.
