General characteristics
These small Indonesian islands are in the Java Sea, a few kilometres to the north of Jakarta on Java (see map, p. 494). They support one restricted-range species, Pink-headed Imperial-pigeon Ducula rosacea, a small-island specialist which is found in forest, scrub and agricultural land on several other islands in the Java Sea (Secondary Areas s108, s109), and in the Moluccas and Lesser Sundas (EBAs 162, 164, 165 and 171 and Secondary Areas s110 and s111).
