Country/Territory | Uganda |
This Secondary Area is defined by the range of Fox's Weaver Ploceus spekeoides which is confined to a small area of northern Uganda around Lake Kyoga (Hall and Moreau 1970), though there is also a record of a colony at Rhino Camp in north-west Uganda (M. Carswell in litt. 1989; see map, p. 372). It is locally common in bushed and wooded grassland in swampy areas (Britton 1980, Collar and Stuart 1985).
