Convention on Wetlands of International Importance (Ramsar Convention)
Many Important Bird Areas (IBAs) are designated, or potentially qualify for
designation, as wetlands of international importance (Ramsar sites)
on the basis of their waterbird populations. This section presents data on those
IBAs so far identified as potential Ramsar sites.
