The use of a Minimum Convex Polygon to calculate the Extent of Occurrence for this species means that now the combination of a small, severely fragmented and declining range and population qualifies it as Vulnerable. It has been apparently extirpated (or is on the brink of extirpation) from several significant portions of its disjunct range.
