Site description (2000 baseline)
A massif at the eastern end of the Sistema Central mountains. The dominant vegetation is sclerophyllous scrub with small Quercus and Fagus woods and extensive Pinus plantations. Hunting and forestry are the most important human activities.

Key biodiversity
This is an important site for breeding raptors.
