Site summary
The IBA supports more than 1% of the global population of the congregatory Sharp-tailed Sandpiper and sometimes also more than 1% of the global population of the near threatened Blue-billed Duck and the congregatory Musk Duck when water levels are suitable. The IBA also provides habitat for the near threatened Diamond Firetail.
