Site description (2019 baseline)
The represents the 34 km river course of the Danube stretching from Zatonje to Golubac, and the entrance to Đerdap gorge. It is situated in Eastern Serbia, along the border with Romania. An important part of the area is the Lake Srebrno jezero, which represents an old meander of the Danube, still connected to the main watercourse.
