Site summary
The IBA regularly supports 150,000 migratory shorebirds, with 11 migratory species and the resident Red-capped Plover present in numbers greater than 1% of the world population. It also supports significant numbers of the near threatened Black-tailed Godwit, Australian Bustard and Black-necked Stork and the restricted-range Dusky Gerygone.
