Site summary
Paralimni Lake is a natural, seasonal shallow wetland in the Famagusta district that retains significant bird interest although it is highly disturbed. It is a notable migration site for both waterbirds and other species and an important breeding site for waders notably the Spur-winged Lapwing, Kentish Plover and Black-winged Stilt.
