Site description (2019 baseline)
An imposing mountainous area located in the far southwestern part of Serbia close to border with Montenegro. Belongs to inner Dinarides. The whole area is rich of Beech and Spruce forest stands and especially open landscapes such as karst fields, meadows and pastures inter-spaced with peaks and canyons of Dubočica, Mileševka and Lim rivers and their tributaries. There is more than 25 scattered mountain villages are situated inside of IBA which belongs to Prijepolje and Sjenica municipalities.
