Site description (2004 baseline)
Large open raised bog lined with a forest belt and surrounded by farmland. Listed as part of a larger IBA since 1994 [3, 4, 1]. Partially protected: there is a 83.8% overlap with Orlovas (Erglu) bog restricted nature reserve, a candidate SPA.
