Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in Shangzhi City. Mao'er Shan Forest Farm is an area of the typical natural broadleaf forest of north-east China. Secondary forests and plantations grow on the slopes in the IBA, and there are meadows and marshes on the lower plain.
