Site summary
Lake Argyle, Australia's largest artificial lake, supports around 150,000 waterbirds including 12 species in internationally significant numbers. The IBA includes the surrounding mud flats and grasslands, which support internationally significant numbers of eight wader species and large numbers of Australian Bustards (Near Threatened).
