Site description (2019 baseline)
This area is stretched on the watercourse of lower parts of Danube flow between settlements Korbovo and Brza Palanka. The length of IBA is 28 km (911-883 river km) outspreading in NE-SW direction. The area consists of the Danube stream, Pesak-Balta marsh and mouths of several small rivers and creeks flowing into the Danube. On the Danube bank there is lot of small, extensive fields interspaced with patches of riparian forest. Along IBA border eight villages were situated belongs to Kladovo municipality.
