Site summary
The Jalbarragup IBA supports at least 20 breeding pairs of the endangered Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo and at least three breeding pairs of the endangered Baudin's Black-Cockatoo and associated habitat within a 10 km radius of the locality of Jalbarragup. The IBA also supports two restricted-range and six biome-restricted species.
