Site summary
This IBA is centred on the coastal floodplains which support up to 500,000 Magpie Geese and more than 1% of the world's Pied Herons. The IBA also includes Hyland Bay from which there are large counts of shorebirds, which are believed to include internationally significant numbers of Great Knots.
