Site summary
The IBA consists of central alpine valleys, with forests and traditional agricultural landscapes, and mountainous regions.
An important site for species associated with subalpine habitats, including Black Grouse, Green Woodpecker and Ring Ouzel.
The main threat is abandonment of traditional agriculture.
