Site description (2003 baseline)
Topography of this area is flat. There is Toweka village near this area in the southern part. The people who lived in this area work as farmer, fisherman and labour in PT. Global (banana plantation).

Key biodiversity
This area is nesting site of the vulnerable Moluccan Scrubfowl (BirdLife International 2001). This area produces about 135000 eggs/year. The bird ussually come in the evening from forest aroundthis area and laid egg at night. This area is also as nesting site of Dusky Scrubfowl.

Non-bird biodiversity: The beach is also used for nesting site of Dermochelys coriacea which has already difficult to find.
