Site summary
The IBA is poorly surveyed but was estimated to support at least 450,000 waterbirds during a recent flood, and counts have exceed 1% of the world population of Nankeen Night-Heron, Royal Spoonbill and Little Curlew. It also supports the near threatened Australian Bustard, the range-restricted Grey Grasswren and the biome-restricted Inland Dotterel, Cinnamon Quail-thrush and Pied Honeyeater.
