Site summary
The Coffin Bay IBA regularly supports more than 1% of the world population of Pied Oystercatcher and Sooty Oystercatcher, significant numbers of the vulnerable Fairy Tern, near threatened Hooded Plover and Western Whipbird, and biome-restricted Rock Parrot and Blue-breasted Fairy-wren.
