Site summary
The IBA supports significant and isolated key populations of the vulnerable Malleefowl and the near-threatened Red-lored Whistler. It also is the centre of distribution in NSW for other mallee species including Striated Grasswren, Shy Heathwren, Southern Scrub-robin and Chestnut Quail-thrush.
