Site summary
The site boundary is based upon a seaward extension of 140 km around Bokak Atoll to encompass the foraging range of IBA threshold numbers of Greater Frigatebird based upon a 1964 population estimate of 6,800 individuals from Amerson, A.B. 1969. Ornithology of the Marshall and Gilbert Islands. Atoll Research Bulletin 127. National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., U.S.A.
