Site summary
Located in the state of Sarawak, East of Malaysia, Bako-Buntal Bay is a host to prominent environmental sites like Mount Santubong and the Bako National Park. The Kuching Branch of the Malaysian Nature Society is actively highlighting the importance of Mount Santubong for its vast biodiversity and to push the state government to gazette the area. Meanwhile, the Bako National Park is Sarawak's oldest national park.
