Justification of Red List category
This species has a very large range, and although the population has not been quantified it is also suspected to greatly exceed threatened thresholds. Due to ongoing slow rates of forest cover loss a the population is suspected to be declining, but there is no data to suggest that the rate of any reduction is suspected to be slow. For these reasons the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
