Justification of Red List category
This species is listed as Near Threatened because there are some indications that it is thought to have a moderately small, fragmented population, and is undergoing a continuing decline owing to forest loss; it almost meets the requirements for listing as threatened under criterion C2a(ii). However, little is currently known about the population size of and threats to this species. Further information may indicate it is more threatened.
