The population size has not been estimated, but is believed to greatly exceed the thresholds for listing under the population size criteria. The population is suspected to be declining at a slow to moderate rate, but the rate of this decline is not believed to be sufficiently rapid to approach the thresholds under the population trend criterion (30% decline over ten years or three generations). For these reasons the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
