Site description (baseline)
The delta of the River Dnepr, with numerous small islands of flood-plain forest and large reedbeds, near the town of Golaya Pristan.

Key biodiversity
The total number of breeding waterbirds is 6,000-8,000 pairs, while more than 140,000 waterbirds stage here during migration.
