This species is classified as Endangered as it has a single, very small population which is declining owing to large-scale clearance and burning of its moist savannah habitat for cattle-ranching and agriculture.



Population size: 400-530 mature individuals

Population trend: decreasing

Extent of occurrence (breeding/resident): 1,600 km2

Country endemic: yes
