Site location and context
The site has deciduous forests, heathland, meadows, scree, cliffs, hedgerows and rivers.



Key biodiversity
The site is a major migratory bottleneck, where more than 20,000 raptors and 3,000 cranes regularly pass (including Pernis apivorus 10,000; Milvus migrans 5,000; Milvus milvus 2,500; Grus grus 15,000).



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
There is high hunting pressure on all migratory birds, irrespective of their conservation status.
