Site description (2000 baseline)
A large old broadleaved woodland of oak Quercus, crossed by streams and surrounded by cultivated land. The area is located in the upper part of River Fiora, in central Italy, west of Lake Bolsena. Main land-uses are nature conservation and forestry.

Key biodiversity
An important breeding area for woodland species.
