Site description (2000 baseline)
Calcareous mountains covered by Pinus forests and above 600 m by Quercus forest. The adjacent plain contains cereal crops, maquis and alluvial forest.
Key biodiversity
This is an important area for species characteristic of the Mediterranean region, and cliff-nesting species.
