Site description (2009 baseline)
Lingzhan is located in the south-western part of Lingyun County. The IBA contains large areas of coniferous-broadleaf mixed forest and commercially-exploited forest. Hunting by local people is a potential threat to birds.
Key biodiversity
Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected animals include Viverra zibetha, Prionodon pardicolor, Manis pentadactyla and Naemorhedus goral.
