Site location and context
Open sea, rocky islets with coastal cliffs covered by Mediterranean scrub.
This is an important area for breeding seabirds. It is also one of the few breeding sites for
Larus audouinii in France.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Marine pollution with hydrocarbons (`Other' threats, above)
is the most significant threat to the site.
National High
International High60 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Iles Cerbicale, 60 ha). 5,000 ha of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (Iles Cerbicale, 5,000 ha). 5,036 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Iles Cerbicale, 5,036 ha).
