Taxonomic note

Stiphrornis erythrothorax, S. xanthogaster and S. pyrrholaemus (del Hoyo and Collar 2016) were previously lumped as S. erythrothorax following Dowsett & Forbes-Watson (1993) and Sibley & Monroe (1990, 1993).
