Taxonomic note
Dessonornis anomalus, D. macclounii and D. mbuluensis (del Hoyo and Collar 2016) were previously lumped as Cossypha anomala following Dowsett and Forbes-Watson (1993) and Sibley and Monroe (1990, 1993).
