Taxonomic note

Stiphrornis erythrothorax, S. xanthogaster and S. pyrrholaemus (del Hoyo and Collar 2016) were previously lumped as S. erythrothorax following Dowsett and Forbes-Watson (1993) and Sibley and Monroe (1990, 1993).
