Population justification: The global population is estimated to number 50,000-499,999 mature individuals (Partners in Flight 2019).

Trend justification:

The species is undergoing a moderate decline (Partners in Flight 2019). A remote sensing study found that forest within the range has been lost at a rate of 7% over the length of a decade (Tracewski et al. 2016); thus the species may be declining by < 10% over a ten year period.
