Red List Category
This newly-split partridge has a disjunct distribution in lowland forest where logging is rapid and on-going, and trapping pressure is prevalent. This total population is likely to be small and comprised of isolated, very small subpopulations which are likely to be undergoing continuing population declines. It is therefore classified as Vulnerable.
