Justification of Red List category
This species appears to have a very localised distribution and a small population, which is becoming increasingly fragmented and is likely to be declining owing to habitat loss. It is therefore classified as Vulnerable, although further evaluation of potential population estimates may mean this species may warrant uplisting in the future.
