Site description (2002 baseline)
The site is located in the parish of Clarendon. Possible disturbance from anthropogenic sources. Recieves annual rainfall in the range of 1500 - 2000mm, and is of fairly low elevation, 200m - 400m, but with a few hills. Towns in close proximity include Pleasnt Valley and Teak Pen.

Key biodiversity
The site provides habitat for those endemic and resident species which are noted restricted to undisturbed primary forest. therefore species found include the Arrowhead Warbler, Jamaican Euphonia, White-chinned thrush and Jamaican Spindalis. Other resident species found include The Vervain Hummingbird, Bananaquit, Caribbean Dove, and Ruddy Quail Dove.
