Site description
A series of freshwater lochs and smaller water bodies with associated wetland habitats, including raised mire, base-rich flushes and fen. Ancient woodland notable for its lichen flora also occurs within the IBA. The site is important as a roost for wintering geese. Anser anser are from the Icelandic breeding population.
