Site description
Deciduous and mixed forest (Abies-Fagus, Quercus-Fagus, Tilia-Acer) with riverine and relict Pinus forests, cliffs and screes.

Key biodiversity
The site holds the largest breeding population of Phylloscopus bonelli in the Black Forest.
