Site description
Sartai lake is adjacent to the Rokiškis fish-ponds. The lake is large and long, with reedbeds, and is surrounded by mixed forests.
Key biodiversity
An important site for Chlidonias niger. Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Haliaeetus albicilla (1-2 pairs), Crex crex (more than 10 pairs).
