Site description
Parts of two natural meandering rivers Rakupe and its tributary Pace, with wet floodplain meadows, with scattered and park-like broadleaved tree stands, lined with mixed and coniferous forests along their valleys. The southwest part includes predominantly wet pine forest and a small raised bog. New IBA, listed for the first time after the Emerald project. Fully protected: there is a 99.7% overlap with two restricted nature reserves Pace meadows and Rakupe valley, both candidate SPAs
